I have realized that I have not worded things properly in the sitting fee's section. (The sitting fee, which I explain in each section, is DUE AT THE TIME I TAKE THE PICTURES! Any thing you purchase etc, is due at the time you PLACE your order!) Sorry for any misunderstandings.

More news...We got another dog today! Josh (our friend) took Barkley, we just had some "malfunctions" with Barkley and decided it would be best for him NOT to remain in our home! So we now have a little Jack Russell Terrior Named, Sparky!

I will post some pics in a few! :)

Today I took my FIRST maternity session (I did it for free, simply so I could build my portfolio up!) Well anyways...I discovered during my session... that I am going to edit the price of the maternity session!
I am going to offer two different choices!
The first one, will be what is advertised right now, $40.00 (which includes a $20.00 purchase credit), where I take around 100 photos and edit most of them!
The second one, will be for someone who just a wants a few pictures of herself and her baby (in the belly). It will be $20.00 (Which includes a $5.00 purchase credit). And I will only take about 30-40 pictures and edit most of them!

But here are a couple of the maternity pics I took today!
(As usual the rest are in my portfolio)

So first off, we'll start off by announcing (not that it's business related or anything) that my little sister has officially moved in with us today! We're glad to have her! :)

Second, today I returned my olympus SLR (it just wasn't working out for me) I have read about a lot of problems with it, and could not find attachments anywhere! So I now have the FAMOUS, CANON REBEL! :) :)

Third, I had an amazing family session today! :) It was my friend Laramie's Family (which includes Jeff and Jacksyn) They are one of the cutest families EVER! Here is a couple pics from there session...check the portfolio to see the rest :)

So today I wanted to practice some headshots, and just take some cute pictures of Mikylee...so I made her sit through me snapping some pictures of her for about 30 minutes lol! (okay it probably wasn't that long...but...) and let me just point out, that I do not tell her how to pose or anything else (another sign of how use to having her pictures taken, she is) but here is a couple of them, but be sure to check out the best edits in my portfolio! THANKS!
Also, just a note: I ONLY HAVE 4 DAYS LEFT IN NOVEMBER AVAILABLE.. SO IF YOU WANT TO BOOK A SESSION, HURRY! LOL...

Today has been an amazing day! :) wahooo! :)
I have scheduled a bunch of fun sessions! Which has me WAY excited!
And... I also made and submitted my advertisement for the Vernal Express... wahoo!
Now I can get the word out to more people! YAY!
Wish me luck!
Here is the advertisement: in color...but...

So I don't know how I should word this without sounding, well... ignorant. But I was looking through some other photographers websites (Mostly other Vernal Photographers, or people I knew from Vernal) and wow...I just cannot believe the prices they charge for (sorry to be so blunt) but, such BAD quality photos! Like I said I hope this does not offend anyone, and I'm not trying to be mean. I just think it is completely rediculous to charge $200.00 all the way to $1000.00 for pictures that are not all that great! For instance, some of the pictures I seen had HORRIBLE sun spots all over the peoples faces, (which YES, I admit, I have ONE picture in my portfolio that is also that way) but these that I seen, had a lot, like MOST of their pictures that way. And I just think it is sad, that people pay so much for pictures of that quality.
I personally promise, to NEVER charge unreasonable sitting fees or purchase prices!
And more so, I PERSONALLY PROMISE THAT IF YOU ARE NOT COMPLETELY SATISFIED (AND I WANT COMPLETE HONESTY, IF THERE IS SOMETHING YOU DO NOT LIKE, TELL ME) THAT I WILL GIVE YOU A FREE RE-SHOOT, AND SOME FREE PRINTS!
Customers are so important! And I want a relationship of trust and satisfaction with each and every one of them! :)

So I had the funnest session today, shooting two fun beautiful girls. I went to school with Sara and she brought her little sister along :)
Here is one of the pictures from the session, but there are a bunch more. So be sure to view my portfolio also (it is the first one) and check out all of them! :)

So last night, while I was on good ol' facebook I was talking to my old neighbor who now lives in this amazing house with an amazing yard! And she was telling me that I could use her yard for a location whenever I want, I got sooo excited. And THEN...SHE TOLD ME ABOUT THIS OLD FORD PICKUP IN HER FIELD! I went crazy with excitement. So I went over there today and snapped a couple pics of some of the really fun stuff I have to work with at her house... check it out! And check out the old wagon! THANKS SO MUCH TYRA! YOU ARE AWESOME! I COULD HAVE SO MUCH FUN TAKING PICTURES HERE!

So I was SOOO anxious to play around with my new camera, that I made my son do another photoshoot, my poor kids :) lol. But here are some pics I've edited from his session. :) Ignore the glare, I was limited on places to take them, because it was just really fast at my house.

So today, I finally got my SLR camera! :) Yippie! I also got a few props for some pictures also...mostly maternity props... but here are some pics of the new stuff off of my new camera! :)
